Jenna and Chris had friends and family come in from all over the country for their beautiful barn wedding in Skaneateles, NY. They themselves flew in from New Mexico!
When an opening for the historical Mandana Barn came about, the couple jumped on their dream venue, leaving them to plan their wedding in just 5 months! You would never be able to tell that they did it in such a short period of time, nor that it was planned on the other side of the country. The details were dainty and exquisite. Everything came together flawlessly, and their wedding day was filled with timeless memories.
The day started in a beautiful home right in the town of Skaneateles. Jenna and her bridesmaids began their hair and make-up and drank mimosas.
Look at her dress!!!
The bridesmaids dresses were adorable as well- a dusty rose color with lace detail.
Of course, we can’t forget the shoes and rings! The grooms ring had “Forever Jung” etched inside, along with their wedding date.
Meanwhile, Chris and his groomsmen were also getting ready around the corner. The guys had great style of their own. The groomsmen dressed in grey pants, white shirts, blue ties, and suspenders. Chris wore the same but added a blazer to stand out among them. Their brown shoes really pulled their style all together.
Chris’ brother, Matt, was his best man.
Once dressed, they headed outside, down to the lake.
The glisten of the sun on the water must’ve been tempting because Chris jumped on the rope swing….
and fell in the water-
Back with the girls, it was about time for Jenna to get dressed. I stole her for a few minutes to get a few glamour shots.
Her mom and sister (her maid of honor) helped her into her dress.
The dress was beautiful with the sheer backing and lace details!
The reactions from the bridesmaids were spot-on!
And it was time! We had a wedding to get to! So we excitedly headed to the church- St. Alphonsus in Auburn.
The sunlight flooded in behind Jenna as the doors opened. Here comes the bride!
Chris’ reaction was priceless!! I love this picture!
Officially Mr. and Mrs. Jung!
Off to Hoopes Park for some photos! Don’t they make the sweetest couple?!
Jenna’s elegance really shines in these…
Did I mention how beautiful her dress was?!
Their bridal party was great! The bride and groom each had one brother and one sister in the party, as well as many of their closest friends.
And then we headed to the barn for the party!
The details in the barn were perfect! Sunbeams filtered through the barn wood panels. “JUNG” hung on the back wall over the head table, surrounded by picture frames and mirrors. The tables were decorated in burlap and mason jars of hydrangeas.
The bridal party entered the barn surrounded by bubbles!
Cheers to Mr. and Mrs. Jung!
Dinner was served, catered by Limp Lizard- YUM!
We took Jenna and Chris back outside for some photos before the sun went down.
The light lingered just long enough to get a few last shots of the bridal party as well.
Then it was time for cake. Jenna and Chris cut their cake…
The guests cleared a circle on the dance floor for the bride and grooms’ first dance before being welcomed on to dance with them!
Then came the father-daughter dance! Adorable!
Maria made sure she caught the bouquet!
And one last cheers before everyone hit the dance floor!
Such a wonderful day and truly amazing people. Mark and I both felt honored to have been a part of it and photograph these special moments. Congratulations to you, Jenna and Chris. We wish you all the happiness!
Great job!
Beautiful
Congratulations! I definitely enjoyed viewing these photos.
Bridget, I know I have told you how much I love this shoot, but I just can’t get over it! The way you captured the couple on their special day is so beautifully done. The bride is absolutely stunning and the photos of the groom before the wedding are just a riot! You truly captured the individual personalities, but it is so clear how perfect these two are for each other. Your photography and skills are so unique to each and every bride. Beautiful, just beautiful!
